My favourite was Tony Price ...

I used to listen to Laxík on my father´s receiver Ingelen 540W whose sound is not outdone till today in my opinion. It was tuned manually with a knob, the signal on the medium waves oscillated very often and was not stable. The advantage of Laxík was that its broadcasting was recognizable almost immediately thanks to the music and the performance of the DJs. My favourite was Tony Price, and when I heard his “two-o-eight”, which was the wave-length 208 of the broadcasting, I knew I was home. What was specifically broadcasted, was in principle not important.
